Program Description
This presentation will focus on the standards for qualifying expert witnesses under Federal Rule of Evidence 702 and challenges to expert witnesses under the Daubert decision from the United States Supreme Court. In light of the recently promulgated version of Rule 702, expert witnesses must be prepared to face challenges to their credentials, their methodologies, and their opinions. This presentation will enable expert witness to anticipate and address challenges designed to prevent them from testifying at trial.
