Accredited
The only accredited credentials in the global business valuation and financial forensics profession. No other credentials have the privilege of dual accreditation.

NACVA's CVA designation is the only valuation credential accredited by the NCCA. NACVA's MAFF designation is the only financial forensics credential accredited by the NCCA.
NACVA received accreditation of its designations by submitting applications demonstrating the CVA and MAFF program's compliance with the NCCA's Standards for the Accreditation of Certification Programs. Their mission is to help ensure the health, welfare, and safety of the public through the accreditation of a variety of certification programs/organizations that assess professional competence. Since 1977, the NCCA has been accrediting certifying programs based on the highest quality standards in professional certification to ensure the programs adhere to modern standards of practice in the certification industry. NCCA is the accrediting body of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE), (formerly known as the National Organization for Competency Assurance (NOCA)) whose mission is to promote excellence in competency assurance for practitioners in all occupations and professions.

National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) Achieves Accreditation of its CVA Designation from the ANSI National Accreditation Board® (ANAB®)
NACVA is pleased to announce the achievement of accreditation from the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) for the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation.
Attaining ANAB accreditation is a major milestone for NACVA. Becoming ANAB accredited demonstrates NACVA’s commitment to the continual improvement of its credentialing programs and compliance to a rigorous internationally recognized accreditation process. It also creates a clear and valuable market distinction for the CVA credential by satisfying the highest level of professionalism and credibility.
Along with ANAB accreditation, the CVA designation is also accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), a division of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE). NACVA’s CVA is part of an elite group of only a few thousand credentials worldwide that have received either the NCCA or ANAB accreditation. Only four credentials in the world hold both the NCCA and ANAB accreditations.
Obtaining the CVA credential provides confidence to credential holders, enhances their reputation with clients, and validates qualifications to the courts, businesses, and legal community that the CVA can competently determine and articulate business value. ANAB and NCCA accreditation serve as third-party confirmation that NACVA’s CVA credential has been developed to meet the highest level of standards and best practices that are recognized globally.
This achievement demonstrates that we are continuously raising the bar with our certification programs to ensure the development of qualified professionals to meet market demands and produce top-notch practitioners and industry leaders. Accreditation enhances the value of the CVA designation and elevates the position of our certificant holders as the most valued financial professionals in the valuation and financial forensic industries.
